Craig needed to travel to Franklin to sign a lease for a apartment there- we now have elders there in addition to a senior couple. We had additional stops on the way there and on the way back to Houston so that Craig could have more leases signed. It was a lovely spring day- evidences all around of new growth on trees. We also saw lots of Blue Bonnets and Indian Paintbrushes in bloom. The areas near the freeways were ablaze with them in so many places. In Franklin we met Elder and Sister Cummings, the senior couple serving there. It turns that a Sister Cummings was from the Plattsburgh Branch in the Vermont District in her younger teenage days. Craig used to visit that Branch often. When Sister Cummings asked Craig who he knew back then ('67-68) the first name he mentioned was, "the Later family". Sis Cummings replied, "I'm Joy Later!" They enjoyed catching up on the "old days!"
Today a wonderful young man entered the Provo Missionary Training Center to begin his training for a mission to Florida Tallahassee Mission. Although, he really has been training his whole life for this! So very proud of you, Elder Winterton!
