Friday 28, 2014- Goodness where has February gone! We entered the MTC on February 3rd. Time has flown! We are loving being here in Texas! We hope that this rainy season passes at some point.

Well, it's been a growing week. I have slowly been getting over pneumonia. I went into the office only for short periods this week. Sister Easley is doing such a wonderful job training me! I feel like I'm learning alot. Craig also is doing great on his training. Today I actually was in the office for 5-6 hours- went home and slept for almost 2 hours which is like almost unheard of for me during the day. I am sounding better, just have a horrible cough still! But sooo very many people have had lingering coughs this winter that I have no room to complain. But it is going well, and we are excited for this opportunity and all that we are being given the opportunity to learn.
Got a chance to visit on the phone with Vince Vincent yesterday- had some word perfect questions. And tonight we got to visit with Gloria Levy Walsh! Was so great to talk with her. How grateful we are for those who keep us in their thoughts and prayers. We know that prayer and faith are such powerful keys that are needed in our lives.

Monday, Feb 24, 2014-

Doing better today, but you can't tell it by my voice. I Still tire easily. I took it easy today, spent time on genealogy. Meanwhile Craig started training at the mission office today- we both have so very much to learn. He brought me home a notebook that Sister Easley put together for me- as I read through it tonight- my head is spinning. We are reading the Old Testament as a family. After scripture reading we had a good time talking and laughing now my voice is really gone. Love my family!
Meredith and Mwangi had a tale to tell today on a visit to Kohl's that involved police coming in with guns and apprehending someone- glad that my family back home was protected.
Oh yes, wanted my Canadian friends to know that I've been wearing my Canadian t-shirt- especially Sunday when Canada won their soccer GOLD medal!

Well, had some breathing problems this morning. Had to call Craig home from Church. Then we spent 4 plus hours in hospital ER. Often asked question of the day: "Do you live here?" Reply: "No, we arrived Wednesday night. "
I have either the beginning of or the end of pneumonia in one of my lungs. More medication and lots of rest. I've been unable to sleep since about 2 am- so I am off to bed for a while.
