We have completed our classes at the MTC. For the morning today we had a Bro. Fortin who deals with automobiles for the church come and spend 4 hours talking to and teaching us about cars, missionaries and policies. He did such a wonderful job.
His most important messages:
"Stay anchored to the approved programs and to the Lord 24 hours a day/7 days a week"
"Everything that you say and do should reflect the church"
The important traits to develop and use in ourselves and to teach to the young Elders and Sister:
Attitude
Obedience
Accountability
We packed our bags and left our room straightened up and headed back to home in Magna. Our hearts are full for all we have experienced. Our heads are full of knowledge for all that we have been taught- we pray that it will become wisdom as we serve in Houston, Texas.
We had dinner with Natalie, Phil, Trevan and Deeja. Phil cooked a lovely meal of ham, mashed potatoes with rolls and sliced pears cooked slightly in cinnamon/sugar and thickened with cornstarch. It was so delicious. Dessert was Reese's Peanut butter chocolate cupcakes, hmmm.
Oh yes, we also got to talk on phone to our mission President to update him. Can't wait to get to Texas and meet them.
We leave Monday morning for Texas.
