Sunday, Feb 16, 2014 and early morning Monday!!!!

Sunday was a busy day. We attended Sacrament Meeting at Amy's ward (our old ward, where we raised our children). Was wonderful see old and very dear friends. Then we headed back to our ward to finish meetings. RS had a wonderful lesson on the importance of the family.  Then home for a little while for lunch and trying to do some packing. At 2:00 we headed over to Amy's (our house) where folks helped me make manicotti for dinner for the entire family. Jason and Taune worked on getting the window replaced in his car (It got smashed while at the baby shower). The were blessed to find a window that would fit from a car in a junk yard- new window for $30!!!! Jason's automotive skill were fantastic in replacing the window- it looks like new! Neil helped making manicotti at his place also- he made a delicious recipe that had veggies (zucchini, squash, kale, etc.) it was very moist and delicious. Then his other pan was similar to my recipe but it had kale in it also. He always makes the best food. So happy that most of my children have great cooking skills- usually excelling over my cooking- which I love to do.  Needless to say dinner was wonderful. Time with family for the last night home. I have been so very nervous, I forget things a lot of times and it was weighing down my mind. My husband thru the power of the priesthood which he holds gave me a wonderful blessing and my mind has been at peace- of course I woke up at 4:00 but I'm doing things too!!! Monday morning it's breakfast with the children at  a pancake house then hopefully we will be all ready to begin our journey to St. George, Utah, where we will be spending the night with my wonderful foster brother and his fantastic wife!  Wednesday night late, we should be in Houston and a new chapter in life begins.
