Wednesday, February 19-Thursday Feb 20th:
We arrived in Houston, Texas late Wednesday night. It was a very long 10-11 hour day in the car again. I have managed to pick up a bad chest cold-I keep losing my voice from the coughing. Got a great welcome from Shauna Edwards Simonson and the family. Our room is wonderful. Hope that we can get into a Doctor in case I need antibiotics. We also need to check in at the mission office. Hope you all have a great day! So glad to be on solid ground and not traveling today. — in Spring, TX.

Thursday: We met with President Pingree in afternoon. He is wonderful. We also met Sister Pingree. A wonderful person also. We start offically on Monday. But we did spend a little time with the Easleys yesterday (the couple that we are replacing). I am living life with a kleenex box in one hand! Hopefully I will be better enough to attend a Roots-Tech event that the Klein Stake is offering. We are both reqistered for the event.
