Another week through at the Mission Office. It's been busy and full of lessons to be learned. A big lesson for me especially as I thought that an Elder's passport/visa was missing for a day- I wasn't 100% sure that I had had them, but I knew that he needed it to fly to Brazil on Tuesday and that Salt Lake had sent it. So I was really doubting my ablility to do my calling, after going through every drawer, nook and cranny in my office. I was grateful for the power of the priesthood as Craig and our local elders gave me a beautiful and faith-promoting blessing that night. The next day the passport was in the drawer that I had emptied out at least 5 times the day before. That drawer is now organized with hanging files for things to go in! I stressed and prayed all the night, and a loving Heavenly Father answered my prayers and also those that were praying for me. Thanks so very much. Our mission president is so wonderful and is always positive, up-beat and complimentary to everyone. I'm thankful that he and my Father in Heaven see beyond the doubt that assails me at times. I'm thankful for trials that strengthen our faith.
Our daughter, Shauna is sick- glad I am here to be here with her. It's great to be able to give back to others when you are so very blessed. We are grateful for our time here with her and her family.
We were also able to get into a doctor's office this week to ensure that we were getting our necessary prescriptions. He seems very nice and very willing to work with us while we are here.
Craig and I also got to go to the temple this week! Which is always a wonderful place to be! The beautiful spring flowers that are there are now gone, glad we got pictures when we did.
